Just as they are ready to depart, Deputies report that an entire farm family has been impaled on needle-sharp stakes in a manner not seen since 'Vlad the Impaler." This is the most grisly mass murder that has ever happened in the quiet town of Walnut Valley, Oklahoma.

Tensions mount as 2 more families are found murdered in the same manner on the same night leaving the Mayor in shock and the Town Council wanting to call in the OSBI and FBI to insure that they won't have to cancel the Annual Walnut Festival, the largest tourist event held all year.
